3. Formation of Budhanilkanth Area Development Committee

(1) A committee called Budhanilkanth Area Development Committee will be constituted for the social, economic, religious and cultural development of Budhanilkanth.
(2) The committee under sub-section (1) shall have the following members:-

(a) Person appointed by the Government of Nepal – Chairman
(b) Five persons nominated by the Government of Nepal from among social workers, intellectuals and eminent persons related to Budhanil Kanth area - members
(c) Representative, Ministry of Forests and Land Conservation – Member
(d) Representative, Ministry of Tourism and Civil Aviation – Member
(e) Representative, Ministry of Finance – Member
(f) Representative, Ministry of Youth Sports and Culture – Member
(g) Representative, Ministry of Home Affairs – Member
(h) Representative, Ministry of Land Reforms and Administration – Member
(i) Representative, Ministry of Housing and Physical Planning – Member
(j) Representative, Ministry of Education – Member
(k) Representative, National Planning Commission – Member
(l) Member of the House of Representatives, Kathmandu region no. 3 – Member
(d) Representative, Kathmandu Metropolitan City – Member
(d) Chairman, Vishnu Budhanilkanth Village Development Committee – Member
(n) Executive Director – Member – Secretary

(3) The term of office of the Chairman and nominated members shall be four years and they may be re-nominated.
(4) If the Government of Nepal deems it necessary, it may publish a notice in the Nepal Gazette and make necessary additions, reductions or changes in the members of the committee.
(5) The committee may invite other domestic and foreign persons to participate as observers in the meeting of the committee as required.
